Wrap – Week Ended 03/12/10

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Last week = much ado about nothing in the major indexes (reference 1 below). In other words, welcome to the post 2Q, it's warm outside and I don't care much at all about gas prices or where storage is at lull. Spring conference season did kick off last week with some interesting incremental tidbits out of NFX, HK, and others and deal flow seems to be improving as BP took much of DVN's data room packages off their hands for better than expected prices (although my trade in the ZIM on that event did not work at all). This coming week we may get news out of a couple of our more active Catalyst List names and in the following week, we start to see some of the more energy focused conferences of Spring which should also engender some boredom relieving press releases.
