This is a note to potential and pending subscribers using Google Checkout. This site was designed with PayPal in mind but we accept Google Checkout for credit card users as you can see in the right hand sidebar. Please note that if you opt to subscribe via Google Checkout you must still register with the site (see Register/Subscribe) link at right providing an email address and your desired Username. Again, this next bit only applies to those of you who wish to subscribe via Google: when you click Register you will be taken to a PayPal screen. Just back out of that and we will manually activate your account upon receiving notice of your payment from Google. Thanks.

And why would you want to subscribe? An email received today when our Admin requested site feedback from one of our earliest annual subscribers (he subscribed way back in September 2007):

ZContest For HK Acquisition: Subscribers occasionally get a free ride. Pick the acquiring company of Petrohawlk (HK) and get a free month of Zman. Stipulations are one "guess" per customer, (HK) must be acquired within the calendar year of 2008 (just trying to limit my liability here), you must of course already be a subscriber, and your pick needs to be sent along in the comments section of the site (no emails please as we try to live in the land of transparency around here).
