Wrap – Week Ended 12/23/22
.
.
The ZLT ended up 2.7% on the week last week as news flow slowed, oil continued its recently begun bottoming process, and natural gas retreated in the face of a short term bump warmer in the U.S. weather pattern and a temporary reprieve in EU prices as well. On the gassy front, look for a 200 Bcf ish pull from storage this coming Thursday and stocks ending below 3 Tcf at year end (more rare than not) along with the January restart of Freeport to buoy prices fairly soon.
Holdings Watch:
- We added to two natural gas centric names, both in the Haynesville, last week and one LNG tied name.
- The Blotter is updated.
As the new year approaches news flow and trading volumes generally slow further. Last week's posts focused on requested name updates. This week's posts will include more owned name updates and the Gassy Players, Wattenberg Players, Eagle Ford Players, and Frac Players Updates but the Request Line is open.
Questions under The Wrap will be addressed in Tuesday post.
