Wrap – Week Ended 11/12/21

.

.

The ZLT ended down 1.3% on the week as our modest oil service holdings weighed on the portfolio while oily and gas positions ebbed slightly, offsetting strong gains in our solar and other renewables tied names.  RIVN IPO shares were only in the personal and we've not added a ZLT position there. In the week ahead 3Q21 energy earnings season will wind down but we do have a flurry of reports into the end as well as a key analyst day for ENPH.

Holdings Watch:

  • We added to one small cap, oily Permian last week.
  • We sold our position in COP at average $72.91, up 22%, purely for profit protection given market conditions.  We held a middling sized position and have no change with regards to the positive story of significant cash flow and return of capital here and we look forward to reloading our position later and potentially lower.
  • The blotter is updated.

XOP Demand volume continues to tail off but price still above all major MAs and holding above this months point of control at 105.41.
110 would be a level to watch for another leg up..if/when. Below 105 would suggest a test lower to 101.
