Wrap – Week Ended 04/09/21

.

.

Shoulder season type week for energy.  Sloppy from gassy to oily to oil service to solar.  Wind tread in place. EV's were mixed. Oil continued to tread largely in place which we see as healthy. Sentiment has countervailing data points within Covid (more activity in the States, less in Europe) and clearly an eye on the new goings on between the U.S. and Iran.

Questions and comments under The Wrap will be addressed in the Monday post.

Have a good weekend,

Z.

    Unhappy Iranians

Uranium enrichment centrifuges operate at very high speeds , and Pass through multiple resonant frequencies as they spin up to speed, or spin down during the enrichment spin cycle.
It is extremely critical to get them through the resonant frequencies in a controlled manner, or the centrifuge can damage or destroy itself.

The event at NATANZ appears to be a cyber attack grid power loss, which would cause an UNCOTROLLED spin down of enrichment centrifuges……..causing damage to or destruction of the centrifuges as they go out of balance in the resonant frequency zone.
