  • The frac spread count continues to rise. See our comments on LBRT last week.
  • Refiner throughput is about to cross over year ago levels, likely in the next couple of reports. This will occur as the U.S. is still: a) producing 2 mm bopd less than it was a year ago and b) seeing bottom of range net oil imports.

    As of 5:07 EDT the SUEZ CANAL AUTHORITY is deferring any further attempt to refloat the EVER GIVEN until Monday evening (canal time), when 2 more powerful tugs arrive and will be in place at high tide.
