Wrap – Week Ended 10/28/16

The ZLT ended last week down 5.5% and is up 28.9% year to date.

The XOP and XNG ended the week down 4.5% and 5.3% respectively and are up 19.8% and 35.3% year to date respectively.  We remain nearly 20% exposed to gassy names.

The OIH was off 5.1% on the week and is up 8.5% year to date. We remain lightly exposed to service names with less than a 5% weighting in the portfolio.

Look for the Energy Earnings Week 3 Calendar in the Monday post.  It's quite crowded.

Look for a new version of 3Q16 So Far in the Tuesday post.

Questions and comments under The Wrap will be addressed in the Monday post.

If you have questions about the site please send them to zman@zmansenergybrain.com or check out the How To ZEB link at left where they might already be addressed.

Have a good weekend.

In Friday's post we had an error in the exports table for LNG.  Apologies for any confusion this may have caused.  The corrected line now reads:

LNG Exports: 0.3 Bcgpd (rising out of maintenance) vs 0.0 Bcfgpd last week and 0.0 a year ago.

The Calendar tab has been updated to include the coming week's earnings earnings.
