Z Am curious at the ability of MTDR to finanance growth with such excellent debt metrics. Is this explained in part by their mastery of their midstream, and then their ability to monetize a portion of the midstream (cryogenic liquids) while retaining portions (pipelines) which drive down operating costs?
September 4th, 2016 at 2:04 pmI'm still perplexed in what the reduction in stocks may look like. We have 525MM barrels of crude – a near all time high. Last year was 455MM
yes the amount added this year is down sharply which is good. However, would we expect to see a significant draw down in the 525MM in storage given current production and number of rigs?
Amount in storage seems particularly stubborn but you'd think eventually the laws of nature with decline rates would have to take over
what is the historic average MM barrels of crude in storage? I seem to recall it having a high 2 or low 3 handle
