re 101 on Fridays post (RMD) – Just to give you what I have been hearing on WFT…rumor they have been backing out on real estate leases here in the Houston area. I think people have long been saying GE has been looking at them as a possible buyout. I also have a friend who works in LWD out in the field for them and they have been letting people go left and right lately. Drilling division has been isolated as a profitable division and could be sold separately when the co needs cash pretty bad is also floating around out there. I dont follow the name and havent looked into it really either just thought I'd see if you knew of any of this and if it could help you out. (Maybe connect some dots or put puzzle pieces together)

RE 3:  Noticed that the link requires a paid subsription.  I read it from Google News, which shows the article free.  So if you cannot read it, just google the title below and you should be able to read it without a subscription.  This also works for Wall Street Journal articles.  Apparently Google has a deal with these publishers to let their viewers read it without a subsription.   Sorry for the inconvenience.
